Mrs. Fields, formerly Betsey Ross, spent many years working in school districts throughout the Valley. While seeking her degree, she worked in various special classroom settings such as an Autistic, Self-Contained, and a Severe and Profound classroom. After four years, she accepted a position as a second grade teacher in the San Benito district, and then followed her calling to teach at St. Paul. Betsey and her husband, Caleb, both attended St. Paul as students. They are the proud parents of one daughter, Harlo Vivian. They live in Harlingen and spend their free time enjoying the great outdoors and learning the many joys of parenthood.
