Mrs. Schmidt, a native of Missouri, moved to Harlingen after graduating from Concordia University in Nebraska in 2007. She is in her third year of teaching and falls in love with it more each year. Megan is married to Jacob Schmidt who is employed at Valley Telephone Cooperative Inc. where he works in the IT department. Both Megan and Jacob are enjoying life in the Valley and the warm hospitality of Texas. In her free time, Mrs. Schmidt enjoys reading, working out, traveling, cooking, and spoiling her puppy, Bella
