It is okay to live your faith out in the world. We are place where you can have a better understanding of God and develop a close, personal
relationship with Jesus through the Bible and relationships with other Christians grounded in Christ.
-Tim Handrick SOLID’s goal is to help young youth understand the grace that is freely given to us by our Lord Savior, Jesus Christ. Through this understanding, then help shape our lives transforming our lowly selves into disciples that reflect the LOVE that is given to us by Jesus himself. We welcome all youth 6th – 8th grade, regardless of school or church, to join and fellowship with the rest of our youth.SOLID meetings are held every Sunday from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm at the youth room located just above the main office. Our devoted youth volunteer throughout the community, such as La Hacienda nursing home and Head Start Day Care at Le Moyne Gardens. To help keep our youth busy and active, we have open gym every Saturday from 2 pm – 4 pm. We also plan several events for which the youth organize several fundraisers, such as White Wings games, theatre, and other exciting activities. Another important opportunity for our youth to serve God through their musical talents is our youth praise band. We rehearse every Saturday and play once a month at the 9:30 am praise service. We encourage all Jr. and Sr. High youth to join! COAST (Sr. Youth Group)Christians outreaching appointed to spread truthThe focus of COAST is to reach our youth through Jesus Christ and His glorious message of salvation. COAST youth group welcomes all teens in the community 9th – 12th, regardless of school or church. We are one family. We have fun volunteering around the community and celebrating the Lord’s triumph over sin, death, and the devil through His Son’s death and Resurrection.
At COAST we like to keep our kids extremely active and when we’re not volunteering around town, we are fundraising for trips, planning youth meetings or rehearsing with the youth praise band. We meet every Sunday from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm at the youth room located just above the main office, and rehearsals for the praise band are Saturday. The youth praise band is an opportunity for our youth to display their God given musical talent and ability, and come together to worship our Savior.
